Doctor Lalna- Return to the Towers

Lalna laughed slightly as Rythian gave the story to Ridge, Nano, and Duncan. The mage seemed more excited about the story of the family than he’d seen in a long time.

“Wow sounded like quite the adventure you two had. Sorry about the first part though. The author um Miya hadn’t finished that story so there was no way of know what had happened or when you guys would appear. So then need a new world Lalna?” Duncan said cracking his knuckles ready to search.

“Nah I have a better idea” Rythian look at him confused slightly “I think we’ve officially worked out the kinks in basic traveling.” Lalna said holding up the third device winking to the tablet. “We’ll see you soon Duncan” He added picking up the tablet ending the video chat. He then started typing in the actual chat.

Lalna: Hey Xephos, Lewis are you on normal chat and not on video?
Xephos: Yeah
Xephos (2): Yeah what’s up?
Lalna: Xeph I’m asking Ridge to teleport you to me. I have a surprise for you two
Xephos: Ok…
Xephos: I’m not really doing anything important now if you want to

Lalna looked to Ridge who nodded typing in the command. With a pop Xephos appeared in front of them.

“So what’s going on friend?” Lalna held up the spare device and instantly the man’s face lit up. “No way…am I really…” he spoked thinking quickly as Lalna helped strap it on programming it for him.

“Rythian pull up the screen and select the option marked Duncan and Lewis” Lalna instructed as he programmed Xephos’ and his own. Rythian nodded doing as he said. “Ok if we’re ready push the green button and we’ll go.” Xephos pushed it excitedly; Rythian and Lalna followed quickly each taking the spaceman’s shoulder as the world disappeared. Slowly the world reappeared to a white hallway. Lalna smiled recognizing it going to the familiar door before knocking. Duncan opened it and gave a small gasp seeing his counterpart.

“Lalna…Finally” he stuck his hand out but Lalna laughed hugging him. Rythian and Xephos looked at the two and around them confused. Duncan laughed as Lalna let go of him.

“That was unexpected Lalna, not unwanted just unexpected!” Duncan looked behind him and smiled seeing the two men. “Welcome Rythian, Xephos. Welcome to Yogtowers” he said spreading his arms dramatically. Duncan’s voice carried and two faces peaked out from their rooms to see. Lalna smiled recognizing them.

“Sjin! Lewis! Look I’m back!” Sjin’s eyes became wide in confusion but Lewis had noticed the men behind Lalna.

“Xe...Xephos?” Xephos laughed moving to the man who was now in the hallway dumbfounded.

“Hey Lewis, I’m here. I’m finally here!” The quickly hugged not letting ago. Each afraid if they let go the other would disappear.

“It’s amazing to see you Xeph” Rythian frowned stepping forward to the two giggling blonds.

“What’s going on?”

“Those two are the same person. Like with Duncan here and me. Although they’ve been flirting with each other over our chat system. TO be honest we came to drop him off. I left instructions with Duncan here when he’s ready to go home.”

“So where’s my other then?” Duncan sighed crossing his arms.

“Sorry Rythian but yours lives in a different country than here so he isn’t always here. He’s visited a couple times but that’s it. Sorry I’ll contact you guys if he’s planning on dropping by if you want to meet him of course.” The man shrugged slightly not really caring. “So you guys aren’t staying?”

“No sorry Duncan we’ll come back again sometime but I want to keep moving. I’ve discovered there are those who need help out there.”

“And Doctor Lalna wants to help all those in need” Rythian added sarcastically jabbing him.

“Hey we have to help those if we can” Duncan just laughed at the two men.

“So you took the name and ran with it. See I called you that after a character from a TV show. He travels through time and space helping people as he goes. It seems like you went a very similar route.” Lalna laughed back thinking.

“Yeah and Ryth here has been helping too”

“I have to admit it’s nice to see you two getting along”

“That last world was a real eye opener honestly”” Rythian admitted.

“Well I think it’s time to get going Ryth more worlds to see you know. Hey Duncan we’re going to one by random this go ok?” Duncan nodded in understanding.

“Don’t be stranger you two and I’ll make sure Xephos goes home once in a while.” Rythian looked around now realizing the men were missing.

“Uh where…” there was a sound coming from the locked live stream room which made Rythian shiver. “You know what I don’t want to know anymore.” Lalna laughed leaning over and programming Rythian’s device to follow his.

“Thanks for everything Duncan, let’s go Rythian. Push the green button and we’ll go straight into the next one.” He said pushing his button. Rythian nodded pushing it taking Lalna’s shoulder as they disappeared.
