The woman sighed sitting down at her desk. The man looked at her from the bed in the corner. “What is it Doctor? I thought you’d be happy.”
“I would if you talked to more than just me. The other scientists would like to know about you too you know Demigod.” She said jotting down a few notes. “Lewis especially.”
“Doctor I told you to call me Ridgedog.” The man said pouting hovering about an inch of his bed still watching her.
“And I told you to call me Hannah when we’re talking like this yet you insist on calling me Doctor.” She said grinning slightly looking up at him.
“So what do I get if I actually talk to the others?” the man asked floating over and sitting on her desk.
“What do you want Ridgedog?” The woman asked leaning back and looking up at the man who smirked more at her. She smiled slightly shaking her head slightly.
“You know exactly what I want Hannah but you still insist on staying with the Commander. Haven’t I shown you enough? What more do I have to do?” he asked begging. She smiled putting her head into her hand.
“Agree to a controlled experiment with me and Commander Brindley. If you promise than I’ll break it off with him before the experiment.” She said matching his grin.
“What kind of experiment?” he asked hesitating slightly.
“Just a temperament test. And I trust you’ll pass it with flying colors.” She said before sitting up more. “Do we have a deal Ridgedog?”
The man chuckled taking the hand she had extended to him kissing it. “Deal my sweet Hannah” he said happily. She gave a laugh blissfully unaware what would happen to them.
